Next to Empire, Michael is also featured in the latest issues of FHM (UK). And he’s on the front cover of Palladium. As you can see on their website, they used the photos from this photoshoot. It comes with a long, interesting interview. Be sure to pick it up at your local newsstand!
CAUSE Charity Football Match
Former Liverpool star Jason McAteer is organising a charity football fund-raiser in which Michael will be participating. The trio of games kick-off on May 23 at Goodison Park, Liverpool (UK).
The cast list is already being assembled for a match McAteer describes as “more of a spectacle and a bit of theatre really”. Michael Sheen will be joined by boxing legend Joe Calzaghe, England international Les Ferdinand, pop star Nicky Byrne from Westlife, Coronation Street actor Craig Charles… The celebrity side will face a combined Everton, Liverpool and Tranmere XI.
The event has been labelled CAUSE (Children’s Aid Using Soccer Events). Save The Children, Liverpool Unites, the Prince’s Trust, the Rhys Jones Memorial Trust and Everton’s principal charity are the charities who will benefit. Ticket prices will be £10 for adults and £5 for juniors, with selling details to be announced shortly.

Today’s Press Highlights
“My friend Michael Sheen is playing the White Rabbit, I know him jolly well. We don’t have a ‘scene’ together. We do have dialogue together but he’ll probably do his in America, in London or wherever he is, and they’ll get mixed together in the end.”
