DSMA nod: Michael’s reaction

Michael Sheen has said that he is “proud” of the films that won him an Actor Of The Year nomination at the Digital Spy Movie Awards: “I am so happy to be nominated for two films that I am so proud to have been a part of,” Sheen told DS. “I feel very honoured. Thank you very much.”

The Damned United Trailer

Sony Pictures Classics has released a new trailer for The Damned United, which will first go to the Toronto International Film Festival in early September and then have its US premiere on September 25. Watch the trailer in HD.

Toronto gets The Damned United

Organizers of the Toronto International Film Festival announced eight more films: four galas and four special presentations. The typically glitzy and high-profile gala program will include The Damned United, a film from acclaimed British screenwriter Peter Morgan and director Tom Hooper about the short-lived tenure of famed English football manager Brian Clough (portrayed by Michael Sheen) as manager of champions Leeds United in the 1970s.

Sorry everyone, we decided to remove the promotional image of Michael as Aro that we posted earlier today. The release of the Volturi images was not approved by Summit Entertainment. So we’ll patiently wait for them to release any official pictures.

To make up for this, we’ve posted a “new” photoshoot in the Gallery. Click on the thumbnails to see the whole set.

Filming The Special Relationship

Michael is currently filming ‘The Special Relationship’ in England. According to his tweets, filming is taking place in several locations including London. We’ve added a new section to the Gallery for this movie. Be sure to check it out, because we’ve already added two on set pictures!
