Walking forward with his arms extended, Aro, played by British actor Michael Sheen, sporting blood-red contact lenses, offers a vaguely sinister greeting to his reluctant guests. The scene is replayed over and over, with Pattinson at one point leaving the set to consult with Weitz about a particular line of dialogue.

As reported earlier, Michael was honored at Swansea Metropolitan University today, where he received an Honorary Fellowship. A great set of 14 pictures of Michael at the Graduation Ceremony has been added to the Gallery… Click on the thumbnails below to see them.
Michael will be honored by the Swansea Metropolitan University today during their Graduation Ceremony. He will be one of the recipients of an Honorary Fellowship from one of Wales’ finest universities.
Other recipients include cricket legend Don Shepherd, Evening Post contributor Alex Frith and one of the UK’s leading academics, Dr Geoffrey Thomas.
Michael (briefly) mentioned a new theatre project in one of his tweets:
Had a few things come up. Going to do a play in London next Feb.

At last we found a few reviews of the Harold Pinter Tribute in which Michael appeared last month. With Janie Dee, he performed a scene from ‘Betrayal‘. And we’re quoting the infamous New York Times critic Ben Brantley…
“Michael Sheen and Janie Dee were transfixing in their scene from ‘Betrayal’.
It wasn’t mentioned in any of the reviews, but we can confirm that Michael also read ‘American Football‘, a poem written by Harold Pinter in 1991.
