MTV has published a shot-by-shot analysis of the latest ‘New Moon’ trailer. The trailer was broadcasted during yesterday’s Video Music Awards and can be viewed here.
It’s the first ‘New Moon’ trailer which includes footage of Aro, Michael’s character. So we’ll definitely add screencaps to the Gallery later today.

A video of Michael accepting his GQ Men of the Year Award has been added to our Video Archive. The ceremony was held on September 8 and he won the Best Actor award.
Sony Pictures Classics kicked off the Toronto International Film Festival with a party. A few pictures of this event have been added to the Gallery. In two days, on September 14, The Damned United will have its gala premiere at the festival.

A special ‘New Moon’ trailer is being shown before the movie Sorority Row. This trailer, which will also be shown at the Video Music Awards on Sunday, focuses heavily on the Volturi. Indeed, finally! There are several shots of Michael as Aro. We’ll put up screencaps as soon as the trailer becomes officially available online.

Prior to receiving his honorary fellowship, Michael talked about the “many happy memories” of his earliest years…
“My parents moved to Newport because of work and I was born here and have family here,” he said. “I don’t get back as often as I used to, particularly with working all over the place, but I always look forward to it. It is always a treat to come back to Wales. I was into football the most as a kid, but I can remember going to Cwmbran Amateur Operatic Society shows, and walking by the river.”

As reported yesterday, Michael visited the University of Wales, were he received an honorary fellowship. Two pictures from the ceremony have been added to the Gallery, one of them was tweeted by Michael.

2009: GQ Men of the Year Awards
Michael has denied that he will be in the next James Bond film. He was rumoured to be playing villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld in the 23rd outing of the famous spy movies, but said the stories are untrue.
“The rumours are I might be playing Blofeld, the Bond villain, because Peter Morgan, who I’ve done Frost/Nixon, The Queen and The Damned United with, is writing it – there is no truth to those rumours,” he insisted at GQ’s Men Of The Year awards, where he won Actor Of The Year. He added, with a smile: “I wish I could tell you different, but no.”
