Michael Sheen says security was so tight on The Twilight Saga: New Moon that people couldn’t even take photos on set. The actor told there was somebody who was given the task of preventing leaks.
He said: “I remember someone whose job was containment and I thought: ‘What does that actually mean? Does that mean stopping people from getting on the set?’ And it wasn’t, it was to stop people on the set taking pictures and sending them out.”

Michael Sheen found fame for his uncanny portrayals of Mr Blair in a series of films with writer-director Peter Morgan. But as he filmed the final scenes for Morgan’s new production The Special Relationship – about Mr Blair and US President Bill Clinton – he said there would be no more.
He posted a picture of himself in costume on social networking site Twitter. Sheen said: ”Goodbye Mr Blair. After three films, think I’m hanging up my Blair boots. If so, last word I ever said as Blair was ‘America’. The irony…”

When disabled former Royal Navy officer Allen Parton was knocked from his wheelchair by a passing car in 2001, his full-time carer saved his life by putting him in the recovery position, covering him with a blanket and, er, barking for help. Now, plans are afoot to make a film about the relationship between Parton, who suffered severe head injuries in the Gulf war, and Endal, a Labrador who received hundreds of hours of training to assist the veteran and his family.
Movie producer Simon Brooks bought the rights to Endal: How One Extraordinary Dog Brought a Family Back from the Brink, which was written by Mr Parton and his wife Sandra. He confirmed Michael Sheen was one of the acting stars he would be approaching to play Mr Parton.

Walt Disney Studios has given Tron: Legacy a release date of December 17, 2010. This puts Disney’s Tron film in direct competition with Sony’s The Green Hornet, The Smurfs, and Warner Bros. Yogi Bear movie.
Tron Legacy is directed by Joseph Kosinski and stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett and Michael Sheen.

Spike TV has announced the nominees for Scream 2009. The awards honoring the blockbuster, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror and Comic Book Genres of the year.
Michael is nominated in the ‘Best Actor in a Fantasy Movie or TV Show’ category for his work as Lucian in “Underworld: Rise of the Lycans”.
