The long-awaited The Twilight Saga: New Moon premiered today in Los Angeles, CA. Michael, who plays Volturi leader Aro, attended the premiere with his daughter. We’ve already added a few pictures to the Gallery. More will be added shortly.

Variety Club Showbiz Award
The Variety Club, one of UK’s longest running charities dedicated to sick, disabled and disadvantaged children and young people, honoured the most talented individuals from the world of entertainment at The Variety Club’s 57th Annual Showbiz Awards 2009.
Michael Sheen picked up the Film Actor of the Year award.

On Monday, November 16, fans of ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ can experience the Los Angeles premiere, exclusively on MySpace. The red carpet arrivals will stream live beginning at 6:00 PM PT.

Veteran stage actor Michael Sheen says of playing his diabolical 2,000-year-old character, “I like the idea of someone who thinks of himself as a nice, sweet grandmotherly type but who’s actually a psycho killer underneath. … So, I like the idea of playing someone who is sort of soft, quite loving and thinks of himself as being very sentimental and then likes to pull people’s heads off.”
