On May 29, HBO will premiere The Special Relationship, which examines the extraordinary alliance between U.S. President Clinton and British Prime Minister Tony Blair from 1994-98. Script was penned by Peter Morgan. Brit helmer Richard Loncraine is directing. For the third time in his career, Blair will be played by Michael Sheen. Dennis Quaid is set to portray Clinton. Hope Davis will play Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland easily topped the domestic box office for a third straight weekend, earning an estimated $34.5 million to bring its total to $265.8 million. The film also topped the overseas box office a third time with $47 million, bringing its total to $300 million. Made for $200 million, the Walt Disney Pictures release has reached $565.8 million worldwide.
