Alas, no Emmy Award for Michael or The Special Relationship… Al Pacino won in the ‘Outstanding Lead Actor In A Miniseries Or A Movie’ category and Temple Grandin in the ‘Outstanding Made For Television Movie’ category. Congratulations to all winners.

aww our poor man always the bridesmaid never the bride!! He is wonderful to us anyway. To loose to Al Pacino is no disgrace.

When “Temple Grandin” started winning everything, i knew Michael didn´t have a chance, after all it was clear they were going for the corny movies, with loads of disgrace, suffering and actors that were made as ugly and unattractive as humanly possible by make-up. Although, it has become a joke, apparently, at the Oscars and the Emmys, it´s impossible to resist the idea of giving all the statues to movies where the characters face terminal diseases or have some sort of mental/physical disability. It´s a shame they always prefer the painfully obvious.
