My dad does brilliant Jack Nicholson impersonations and has made a living from this – but only because he looks like him. He’s a terrible actor and I tell him that to his face. But he’s got total commitment and I think what I’ve got from him is sort of an ability to give 150% to whatever I’m doing.

The other must-see sequences simply perk things up. Michael Sheen plays Castor, a David-Bowie-inspired club owner. Sheen is a hoot, prancing around in a powder-blue jumpsuit and platinum wig, strutting like Charlie Chaplin, bringing the film an exuberant burst of energy. (…) The most memorable performance award goes to Sheen; Although he’s only on screen for a few moments, he’s fierce, flamboyant, and entertaining. (…) Michael Sheen steals the film with an over-the-top performance as the flamboyant bar owner, Castor.
