Michael is one of 29 celebrities donating their ‘paw prints’ to raise money for the Cats Protection charity. The celebrities were asked to draw around their hand, sign it, and style it in their own unique way. The ‘paw prints’ will be auctioned on eBay from December 1.

In the new documentary Coming Home, Newport born Michael Sheen will trace his family’s roots and get more than his fair share of surprises… “It’s been a fantastic and unique experience, so I feel very privileged that I’ve had the opportunity to go on this journey”, he says. “These are things that will stay with me for the rest of my life now.”
Michael is well-known for his Welsh roots and he loves returning home to Wales to visit his mum Irene and dad Meyrick, who still live in the house he grew up in. “As soon as I see the steelworks, there is no feeling like it for me,” he says. “I get emotional coming back to this town. It really affects me, I absolutely love it. My Welsh roots are everything, it’s where I come from, the people I come from, the land I come from. In my own lifetime it’s made me who I am.”

Michael Sheen isn’t ready to say goodbye to Wesley Snipes, his 30 Rock alter-ego, just yet. The Wales-born actor told EW exclusively on Thursday that there is “a very strong chance that he will make another appearance.”
“We have talked about it and we kept it open,” Sheen said. “We’ve all enjoyed the character and I loved working with Tina. She’s quite brilliant and writes some of the best jokes to poke fun at Brits. But she’s currently romancing that damn Matt Damon character so I am on the sidelines for a while.”

A great report from yesterday’s Britannia Awards…
Sheen tore the house down with a slew of one liners that couldn’t have been on any prepared speech beforehand. Intent on getting Fry, his “Wilde” co-star and longtime friend, to burst out laughing, it will be curious what TV Guide decides is suitable for airing on the edited show. Namely, after hosting the show and presenting for other winners, he joked, “I suspect they gave me this so I won’t keep showing up.” And as for Fanning and Mulligan, “I kept thinking they thought they were her to talk about Martin Sheen.”
And then, he got to the famously out Fry, “The man I had my first screen kiss with.” Pause. “You never cease to engorge me.” Shocked laughter, but Sheen isn’t finished. “He was the first man to give me a swift buggering.” Huge laugh. Sheen then notes that his gay love scenes in “Wilde” sometimes hit him “like an acid flashback. I walk down the street and get an odd quiver [you know where].” At this point, the audience is dying, Fry is on the side laughing so hard he’s red faced and Fanning must be wondering what she got herself into on a school night.
