Synopsis
In 1972, a break-in was foiled at the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee at the Watergate Hotel in Washington DC. Within days a connection had been made to the White House and to President Nixon’s closest aides. It unleashed one of the greatest scandals in modern American politics and ended with Nixon’s humiliating resignation. David Frost’s interview with Richard Nixon drew the largest ever for a news interview. Could this British talk-show host, with no political convictions and a playboy reputation, be the one to elicit an apology from the man who committed one of the biggest felonies in American political history?

Reviews
Sheen brilliantly captures Frost’s scary ambition and the eerie impression of vacancy that underlies it… There’s no question about the potency of Frank Langella and Michael Sheen’s blazing performances… The word from London, where Frost/Nixon proved a hit, buzzed how the acting by Langella as Nixon and Michael Sheen as Frost was inspired and boy oh boy, that’s true…
