Michael is to direct in the April 2011 production of Passion in his hometown of Port Talbot for the National Theatre Wales. He will also appear in this play, along with members of the community.
He spoke to BBC Wales about how local people can help with the play and why it means so much to him to take part. In this video, he also revealed how a conversation at a bus stop in Baglan, Port Talbot, when he was young had a massive impact on him…

In yesterday’s episode of Top Gear, Michael was the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car. He finished his timed lap around the test track in 1.46.3 minutes. This puts him in 6th position, right between Jennifer Saunders and Gordon Ramsay. Check out two stills from the studio interview in our Gallery.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon
Michael has been cast as Aro in the upcoming Twilight sequel ‘New Moon’. Aro is the leader of an Italian vampire clan called the Volturi. The movie’s release date is set for November 20, 2009.

Michael Goes Blair – Part III
Michael Sheen and Peter Morgan will reteam to make a third movie about ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair. The film, entitled The Special Relationship, will focus on Blair’s friendship with Bill Clinton during the last three years of his Presidency. Sheen has previously played Blair in The Queen and TV movie The Deal.
