KMFM Charity Football Match

Michael will participate in the Help the Heroes football match on May 2 at the Julie Rose stadium (Ashford, Kent). This charity match will see a London Town celebrity XI, featuring Michael Sheen and former Blue singer Simon Webbe, taking on an Ashford celebrity team featuring X-Factor contestant Daniel Pearce.

Tickets are £12 and are now available. £35 VIP tickets include a running buffet and an opportunity to meet the celebs after the game. More information can be found on the Ashford Charity Funds website.

Academy Awards

At last night’s Academy Awards, Michael introduced his The Queen co-star Helen Mirren in the Best Actress category. She was nominated for her leading role in The Last Station. We’ve added pictures of Michael at the backstage arrivals and during the ceremony. There are also two new pictures of him at Vanity Fair Oscar Party .

National Doodle Day

Hundreds of celebrities are allowing their doodles to go on show for charity. The doodles are being sold on eBay over the next 10 days, with money raised going to two charities - Epilepsy Action and the Neurofibromatosis Association.

The sale is starting on National Doodle Day and more than 300 well-known figures are offering a small insight into themselves. Doodling celebrities include include Michael Sheen, Frank Lampard, Gillian Anderson, Lorraine Kelly and Rolf Harris.
