It promises to be a comedy about romance but not a romantic comedy, but you can judge for yourself from the trailer for My Last Five Girlfriends. It stars relative newcomer Brendan Patricks as a likeable schmo who decides to quiz his last five girlfriends on what went wrong in order to figure out how to find love. The cast also includes Naomie Harris, Kelly Adams, Jane Marsh, Edith Bukovics, Cecile Cassel and the great Michael Sheen.

What, one had to ask, was British actor Michael Sheen doing at the Off-Broadway opening of David Ives’ new play, Venus in Fur? “I came to see the play,” he replied simply. “I’ve been doing some filming here, and I’m leaving tomorrow. It worked out really well, timing-wise, to be able to come and see the play.”

According to Play.com, the DVD of ‘Unthinkable’ will be released on June 14 in the UK. This Gregor Jordan movie is a psychological thriller centered around a black-ops interrogator (Samuel L. Jackson) and an FBI agent (Brandon Routh) who press a suspect terrorist (Michael Sheen) into divulging the location of three nuclear weapons sets to detonate in the U.S.
Stage and screen star Michael Sheen greeted fellow actor Wes Bentley at the opening night of Classic Stage Company’s Venus in Fur on Tuesday, January 26. The two appeared together in the 2002 film, The Four Feathers. Check out a few pictures in our Gallery…

In June 2009, a group of Britain’s leading actors gathered for one night only to perform a celebration of the work of Harold Pinter at the National Theatre. Michael was one of them, he performed a scene from ‘Betrayal‘ with Janie Dee and read the poem ‘American Football‘.
This performance will be aired today, Sunday January 24, on BBC Four at 9pm. Be sure to tune in!

MTV has debuted this new image of a yellow Light Cycle in director Joseph Kosinski’s Tron Legacy, opening in 3D theaters and IMAX 3D on December 17th. The Disney release stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett and Michael Sheen.
